Getting help

The fastest way to reach us is by email — tap the button above or write to n2y@dewhirst.net. We usually reply within 2–3 days.

When you contact us, it helps to include:

• Your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 14, iOS 18)
• The app version (shown at the bottom of the Settings tab)
• What you were doing and what went wrong

Common questions

• The arrow isn't pointing anywhere. Make sure you've allowed location access and set your home camp in the app — the compass needs a GPS fix and your camp address to point home.
• Does it work without signal? Yes. The map, your camp location, and the compass all work fully offline. The crew finder uses the network when there's signal and Bluetooth when you're off-grid.
• Why does it ask for location? Location powers the compass and nearby discovery. We don't sell or share your location.
• Is my data private? We don't run ad tracking and we don't sell your data. Crew positions are shared only with people who have your crew code. See our Privacy Policy for details.
